Printed by Taylors of Wombwell in 1930’s for a stage production of Cinderella. This linenbacked vintage British quad lithograph poster is in fine condition. It was likely made for a Christmas pantomime. It was quite common in those pantomimes for women to play boys roles, and for men to play the roles of villainous women.
Rich, bright colours show Cinderella between her ugly stepsisters. This lithograph measures 30" H x 40" W / 76 x 102 cm and the final size with linen border is 31.5” H x 41.5” W / 80 x 105.2 cm (British quad)
