Circa 1930’s, this French bicycle ad is for Peugeot La Bicyclette Inoxydable, which means stainless steel. This advertising message is conveyed through the imagery of the Peugeot lion (from their logo) riding a bicycle whilst holding an umbrella. The poster artist’s initials are L.V.
This poster measures 32 cm x 42 cm (12.5” x 16.5”) and has been deacidified and linenbacked and the fold lines have been restored.
